About Ryan

From tech-pack to bulk, on the production floor

Ryan has spent 12+ years building activewear and sportswear for export brands, moving from line supervision into sourcing and full production ownership. He runs the workflow that turns a brand's idea into shippable goods — fabric selection, pattern and tech-pack, sampling, and bulk — and has walked first-order founders and scaling labels alike through their first OEM/ODM run.

His depth sits in the details that decide whether a garment passes or comes back. He works in tech-packs and size grading, drives the sampling loop, selects performance knits against a brand's stretch, weight, and hand-feel targets, and holds production to measurable tolerance: fabric weight within ±5%, color within ΔE ≤ 1.5, and pre-shipment inspection at AQL 2.5. When a spec is ambiguous, he resolves it before it reaches the cutting table — not after.

On the Berun blog, Ryan writes the playbook he uses with buyers every week: how to read a quote, what a tech-pack actually needs to include, where sampling time goes, and how to take a design from approved sample to a clean bulk run. The goal is simple — give brands the facts they need to order with confidence.
